ScratchSignal uses factual information from publicly accessible Texas agency sources under the State Website Linking and Privacy Policy. ScratchSignal identifies its sources and dates, does not present copied information misleadingly, disclaims State endorsement, avoids official logos and ticket artwork, and keeps independent derived signals separate from official facts.
ScratchSignal is independent and is not affiliated with or endorsed by the State of Texas, the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation, its lottery program, retailers, or ticket distributors. It sells software access only and does not sell or distribute tickets, accept wagers or entry fees, facilitate ticket purchases, operate games or contests, set odds, or award prizes or payouts.
Texas is the only live state market. Indiana, Colorado, and Michigan official sources remain in validation or research; ScratchSignal does not publish live rankings or retailer signals for those states. Current status is listed on the coverage page.
Defined metric and claim boundary. “Prize retention” is the reported unclaimed count divided by the count originally listed in an official prize tier. A “retention gap” compares two such percentages. These derived monitoring metrics are not current odds, probabilities, expected value, predictions, recommendations, or representations about the next ticket. ScratchSignal describes a change between source-dated reports only as the retention gap widening or narrowing by a stated number of percentage points; that does not mean actual winning odds or profitability changed. ScratchSignal makes no representation that any monitored game currently offers better odds than its published overall odds or than another game.
Signal Pro costs $4.99 USD per month and renews until canceled through the Stripe-hosted billing portal. Cancellation stops future renewals; access continues through the paid period. Cancellation and refund terms are published on the support page. Access may be suspended for abuse, fraudulent reporting, or attempts to interfere with the service.
Official data may be delayed, incomplete, unaudited, adjusted, or corrected. The official sources do not provide all values needed to calculate current ticket odds. No output guarantees prize availability, retailer inventory, a winning outcome, profit, or fitness for a particular purpose. Material limitations appear next to the relevant metric and in the methodology; a user should not rely on ScratchSignal as betting, financial, tax, or legal advice.
The private ticket ledger is a convenience for organizing user-entered records. Its totals do not determine taxable income, substantiate a deduction by themselves, or calculate an allowable loss. Users remain responsible for accurate records, original tickets and receipts, required tax forms, and professional advice appropriate to their circumstances.
Service and warranty boundary. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, ScratchSignal is provided “as is” and “as available.” The operator disclaims implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and noninfringement, and does not warrant uninterrupted access, error-free outputs, or that data or community reports are complete, current, or accurate. Nothing in these terms excludes a warranty or consumer right that applicable law does not allow to be excluded.
Liability boundary. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the operator will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, lost profits, losses from purchasing decisions, travel, unavailable inventory, reliance on a signal, or lost data. The operator's aggregate liability arising from the service will not exceed the greater of $50 USD or the fees the claimant paid for ScratchSignal during the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim. This limit applies across legal theories and does not limit liability that applicable law makes non-waivable, including liability for the operator's fraud, willful misconduct, or gross negligence where it cannot legally be limited.
