- What does ScratchSignal monitor?
- ScratchSignal monitors official Texas scratch-off prize reports and combines historical retailer sales with recent, time-decayed community shelf sightings. It is a software monitoring service, not a ticket seller or lottery operator.
- Does an unclaimed prize mean the winning ticket is still in a store?
- No. An officially reported unclaimed prize may already be printed on a ticket that was sold. ScratchSignal keeps official prize data separate from community retailer signals and never guarantees ticket availability or winnings.
- Does a higher prize-retention signal mean my odds improved?
- No. Prize retention compares reported unclaimed prizes with the original count listed for a prize tier. A positive top-tier retention gap means only that, as of the source date, the top-prize tier's reported-unclaimed share is higher than the exact ticket-price prize tier's share. It is not current odds, expected value, a prediction, or the chance on the next ticket because the official report does not include unsold-ticket counts.
- How are retailer stock signals generated?
- Stock Signal starts with game-specific monthly retailer sales history from the Texas Open Data Portal, then adds fresh signed-in community reports with a 12-hour half-life. Reports must be corroborated across accounts and time before receiving a positive or negative label. These signals do not establish current inventory or ticket availability.
- Where does the official Texas scratch-off data come from?
- The current prize board uses the public scratch-off CSV from the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation Lottery and Charitable Bingo Division. ScratchSignal links the exact source and shows both the report date and retrieval date.
- Which states are live on ScratchSignal?
- Texas is the only live prize board and retailer-signal market today. Indiana, Colorado, and Michigan are listed for official-source validation and retailer-source research only; ScratchSignal does not publish rankings or location signals for those states yet.
- How much does Signal Pro cost?
- Signal Pro costs $4.99 USD per month. It unlocks every monitored current game and up to fifteen retailer locations per Stock Signal search. Billing and cancellation are handled by Stripe.
- Is ScratchSignal affiliated with a state lottery program?
- No. ScratchSignal is independently operated and is not endorsed by Texas, TDLR, or any other state lottery program.
